The Carolina Slammer

Just came up with a new drink concoction. On our recent visit to Charleston, SC we discovered "Low Country" and Gullah Cuisine and home-brewed Peach Cider. Now, of course I couldn't just leave this one alone .. Oh, no, no. I thought I would add a little 'sling' to it.

Add a one part Vodka to two parts Peach Cider, over ice and shake, stir, mambo ...

I call it the Carolina Slammer because you'll wanna slam'em down it's so good!

Oh, whoa is me ...

Well here I am ... again! I am FINALLY completely moved and situated in Jax (that's Jacksonville, FL) and getting back in 'mah groove' ... not that I really had any groove but I like to think that I do.

I want to thank you all for your continued support and prayers during my crazy trials and tribs with home, family and life. You have been so wonderful and I have missed being on here posting my nonsense and suchess. I know there are so many of you going through your own hardships and battles out there and I will continue to send you positive vibes and blessings, too.

So, I am up in Jax and know not a soul ... yet but I'm working on it. This weekend has been the first weekend in several months that I have been able to stay home and sit back and relax. Now if only I can remember how that goes ...
